The Holy Scriptures: We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God. We accept the Bible in its entirety as being without error in the original writings. Therefore, we are committed to the Bible as our final authority for all Christian life and faith. (II Tim 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21)

 

The Triune Godhead: We believe in the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit as equally One. (Genesis 1:26, John 1:1-4, Matthew 28:19)

 

Jesus is the Son of God: We believe Jesus is the Son of God. He is God in human form; eternal and equal to the Father. We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. (John 1:1-5)

 

Virgin Birth: We believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. (Matthew 1:22-23)

 

Perfect Sacrifice: Jesus Christ is the only way to God. Jesus Christ is the perfect and only sacrifice, anticipated before creation and able to make atonement for the sins of all men through faith. We believe he died on the cross and three days later rose from the grave to life. He is victorious over death and sin and will reign as King of Kings for all eternity. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

 

Salvation: We believe that all men are born with sin, separated from God and in need of redemption. We believe salvation is a gift of God, offered to man by grace and received by man through personal faith in the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. Man receives salvation through faith. Man’s good works are evidence of faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

 

Life: We believe Life is precious, beginning at conception and continuing to death of natural cause. All persons have value and worth to God and are part of the human family. All persons should be treated with dignity and respect because they are made in the image of God. (Psalm 139:13-14; Psalm 127:3)

 

Marriage: We believe marriage is a holy covenant between a man and a woman before God. Marriage is a public witness of God’s faithfulness to and provision for His people. (Genesis 2:24)
